An increasing number of Compass Bus services are now being tracked by the "Realtime" system. A GPS device on the bus follows its progress, allowing bus stop displays to advise waiting passengers the exact time of arrival of the service, allowing for any traffic delays.

This information can also be obtained by using "Text for Times" - simply text the code displayed on the bus stop to 84268, and the times of the next three departures will be texted back to you.

You can also view the times of the next five buses due within the next hour online at each stop on services marked as follows:

Simply click on "Times" to view view the next departures, or on "Map" which will also show you the approximate location of the bus stop.

If a bus is being tracked, this will show how long it will be before the bus will reach the stop (eg 3 mins). If the bus is currently not being tracked - this may be because it has not started the journey yet, then it will show the timetabled time of arrival (eg 12:43)
